Musikfest es un festival de música estadounidenseque se celebra anualmente desde 1984 en Bethlehem, Pennsylvania . Afirma ser el festival de música gratuito no cerrado más grande del país. Cada año, miles de visitantes y residentes de Pensilvania viajan a Belén para participar en una celebración que atraviesa una comunidad morava que se remonta a 1741. Los visitantes del festival disfrutan de cientos de espectáculos gratuitos durante el transcurso del evento. Cada noche, el escenario premium del festival, Steel Stage (anteriormente conocido como RiverPlace y Kunstplatz) alberga a un artista de grabación conocido a nivel nacional. Las raíces locales alemanas son la base de la celebración, y la mayoría de los lugares del festival usan Platz , la palabra alemana para lugar o plaza, al final de sus nombres. Un lugar popular para comer y escuchar música, por ejemplo, es la gran "Festplatz", que incluye 300 mesas de comedor y, por lo general, cuenta con una banda de polka cada noche. Sin embargo, más allá de eso, la música, la comida y otras atracciones de Musikfest representan una amplia gama de etnias.

Musikfest es presentado por ArtsQuest, una organización artística sin fines de lucro fundada para "celebrar las artes y la cultura" en Lehigh Valley y más allá. Las ganancias del evento benefician a empresas de ArtsQuest como el centro artístico comunitario Banana Factory en South Bethlehem, así como a otros grupos sin fines de lucro en toda la región. Musikfest 2013

Musikfest 2013, que vuelve a ser presentado por ArtsQuest, se llevó a cabo del 2 al 11 de agosto. El festival incluyó cientos de actuaciones de bandas, artistas, comediantes, artesanos y músicos callejeros. Actuaron en más de 14 escenarios y lugares interiores y exteriores en todo el centro histórico del siglo XVIII de Belén, el Sands Casino SteelStacks Plaza, el Artsquest Center, el PNC Plaza y el Yuengling Musikfest Cafe. El festival de este año fue especial porque fue el 30 aniversario de Musikfest y, como tal, se planearon muchos eventos especiales y conciertos para conmemorar este evento. El último día del festival fue coronado por un impresionante espectáculo de fuegos artificiales presentado por Garden State Fireworks .

Nuevo en el festival fue un evento llamado "Musikfest Color-Me-Rad 5K"; Una carrera de 5 km con un giro, los corredores fueron arrojados con bombas de pintura de los espectadores, además de esquivar y arrojar bombas de pintura entre sí. Otra novedad del festival fue la Primera Exposición Anual de Fotografía Voluntaria de Musikfest. La exposición destacó el talento de los dedicados voluntarios que documentan Musikfest cada año. La exposición contó con el trabajo de Dave Happel, Keith Huylebroeck, Joseph Ledva, Jeff Levy, Greg Ludwig, Diane Richter, Bob Yurko y Adrianne Zimmerman.

Musikfest 2011, que vuelve a ser presentado por ArtsQuest, tendrá lugar del 5 al 14 de agosto. El festival incluirá unas 500 actuaciones musicales en 14 escenarios interiores y exteriores en todo el centro histórico de Belén del siglo XVIII. Además, el evento exhibirá deliciosas comidas y postres de más de 60 vendedores, una variedad de actividades para niños, artes visuales y artesanías y una exhibición de fuegos artificiales en la noche de clausura.

El tema de este año es "The Song Remains ..." y los artistas y eventos lo mostrarán. El sitio web oficial indica que el evento será muy especial ya que hay algunos cambios nuevos y emocionantes en la tienda, ya que planean incorporar parte del festival en SteelStacks en el lado sur de Bethlehem.

La iteración 2011 del festival anual también contará con nuevos escenarios y lugares, así como una expansión del tamaño físico del festival, ahora extendiendo varios lugares al SteelStacks Center y al PNC Plaza y Yuengling Musikfest Cafe de nueva construcción .
