Johann Joachim Lange (26 de octubre de 1670 - 7 de mayo de 1744) fue un teólogo y filósofo protestante alemán.
Lange nació en Gardelegen y se educó en Leipzig , Erfurt y Halle . Fue influenciado por Christian Thomasius y el pietista August Hermann Francke . Se convirtió en profesor de teología en Halle en 1709 y se opuso a la filosofía de Christian Wolff . Murió en Halle el 7 de mayo de 1744.
Lange escribió el himno Oh Dios, ¿qué ofrenda daré? , traducido al inglés por John Wesley .
Lange murió en Halle . Su hijo, Samuel Gotthold Lange , fue un notable poeta.
