Estreno de la NHL 2011 - 2011 NHL Premiere
El estreno de la NHL 2011 fue el quinto evento europeo de múltiples juegos de la Liga Nacional de Hockey en abrir la temporada regular, con los Anaheim Ducks , los Buffalo Sabres , los Los Angeles Kings y los New York Rangers . Tuvo lugar del 7 al 8 de octubre de 2011 para inaugurar la temporada 2011-12 de la NHL . Antes de esto, al igual que con los eventos Premiere anteriores, los equipos de la NHL participaron en una serie de juegos de exhibición con equipos europeos como parte del Desafío Premiere de la NHL 2011, entre el 29 de septiembre y el 4 de octubre de 2011.
Más adelante en la temporada, un contingente de fanáticos de Adler Mannheim se embarcaría en su propia gira de juegos de hockey en Buffalo y Toronto, con el respaldo de los Sabres y los Toronto Maple Leafs .
